Welcome to our web site show-casing dogs that we own and have bred, and also their achievements in and out of the ring. We are only a small dedicated kennel located in South East Queensland, but within our breeding program we strive to keep to the high standard of both the Staffordshire Bull Terrier and American Staffordshire Terrier.
The first Stafford I ever had the pleasure of owning was an un-papered black/brindle bitch called "Allie" that I was given in 2001, she unfortunately passed away in 2012 but was my first taste at owning a Stafford and made me want more. I was originally taught to handle Pugs by Billie from Pickapug Kennels and I enjoyed giving Billie a hand in the ring and learnt many valuable things from her - to this day I still handle for Billie where I can.
Then in 2003 I decided that I would really like to get into the showing side of things with a papered Stafford, so I bought a little black/brindle bitch from Gladstone as a pup, who became better known as "Kellabrallie Liddllillie" Lillie was a great starting point for me but much preferred the life on the couch than in the ring. It was then that I bought 2 mature age Staffords, 1st was "Stafface True Grit" aka Oscar and later "Transtaff Iron Maiden" aka Taz, which both came from pet homes. Oscar never really found his place in the ring so he is quite happy sharing the couch with our other oldies. Taz on the other hand had done us very proud in the ring by gaining her Australian Championship Title in a little under 2 years of us slowly campaigning her, we were extremely blessed to have Taz and she has definitely proved to be an asset to our kennels by giving us stunning progeny to continue her line with, unfortunately Taz passed away mid 2013. We have continued along with our small kennel growing from strength to strength and in that time have made many friends along the way that are always willing to be there to lend a hand.
Our first Amstaff joined the team in 2005 and is called Iminawe Zhelian Bronze aka Aura, Aura gained her Australian Title with relative ease and continued to do us proud when she became a mother for the first time in 2007 where she produced a stunning litter one of them being our very own Luca aka Australian Champion Rizenstar Alabama Slama. Luca has been a consistent performer in both the All Breeds and Speciality Ring and we couldn't be happier with our first American litter, Aura then blessed us again in 2010 with another stunning litter which we retained pups to continue her winning ways in the ring.
All in all, I have really enjoyed my time thus far in the dog world and am hoping that it will continue for many more years to come. I also wish to thank all the people who have helped me get started in the dog showing world, especially Billie who showed a great deal of patience in educating me into the etiquette of the show world.
I would also like to Thank all those people throughout the dog world that have been there to help us out with our dogs and generally to just to lend a hand to us -
"YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE, SO THANK YOU SO MUCH - YOU HAVE HELPED US BECOME WHO WE ARE IN MORE WAYS THAN YOU CAN IMAGINE"
We are always trying to keep our website up to date with our teams show results, litters and general information. If you would like to be added to our Links page, please feel free to drop us an email.
Yours In Staffords
